Chinar won the Himalayan Sustainable Tourism Samman 2019 for Developing a New Sustainable Tourism Destination in the Himalaya. The award was organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce India, United Nations Development Programme and Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board.
